#PawsGala

Our pinnacle event is the Paws for the Cause Gala & Fashion Show. Typically held in October, the runway presentation features canines who lend a paw to their fellow furry friends by “werking” it on the catwalk in designer duds. But the pups donʼt act alone: their escorts, affectionately known as “celebrity dog-walkers,” are also decked out in couture and include some of Canadaʼs most recognizable faces.

The second annual #PawsGala, held on October 27, 2011, once again put dogs front and centre on the catwalk, featured the work of designer Philip Sparks. In addition to Philip Sparks, the dogs were outfitted by Babies & Beasts, and featured Dave Monks, lead singer and bassist of Tokyo Police Club, as the guest DJ.

The 2011 #PawsGala was hosted by ET Canada’s Rick Campanelli (Co-Host) and Angie Smith (Fashion Producer).
